As we reflect on 25 years of INSTALL, Executive Director David Gross shared one of the moments that stands out most from his time with the organization. “One of the most impactful moments for me was attending the UBC General Convention in August 2025. It was there that I could truly see the dedication—and the scale of the structure—required to deliver the consistency and reliability that INSTALL represents across an entire continent. It is absolutely a privilege and an honor to work alongside our brothers and sisters as we continue shaping the future of the flooring industry.”
Twenty-five years ago, INSTALL was founded on a simple but powerful premise. If our craft is going to be respected, it must be standardized, disciplined, and verifiable. Over the past 25 years, that idea has evolved into a structure that connects training, contractors, manufacturers, and quality assurance across our industry. We’ve spent a quarter century building something extraordinary. Now, over the next 25 years, it’s about demonstrating what performance assurance truly delivers.
