INSTALL announces the addition of its newest Alliance Partner and two new INSTALL Warranty Contractors. INSTALL’s mission is to elevate industry standards by providing superior training and certification.
Sika Corporation, based in Lyndhurst, NJ is a leading supplier of specialty chemical products and industrial materials serving construction and industrial markets. Its technologies are focused on solutions for subfloor preparation, moisture mitigation, wood floor adhesives but also in sealing, bonding, damping, reinforcing and protecting. Before signing on as an INSTALL Alliance Partner, Sika toured the Thomas C. Ober Carpenters Training Center in Hammonton, NJ and reviewed curriculum to support the strength and scope of the Alliance Partner program. INSTALL Representative Frank Koch, Training Director Thomas Sommers and INSTALL Instructor David Gross conducted the tour and presented the level of professional training and certification provided by INSTALL. Following this visit and understanding in depth INSTALL professionalism, Sika was eager to sign on as INSTALL’s newest Alliance Partner.
The highest level of certification within the INSTALL program is to achieve INSTALL Warranty Contractor (IWC) status. Both Sonus Interiors, located in Golden Valley, MN and Santarossa Mosaic & Tile, an Indianapolis based company, have been awarded IWC status.

Santarossa Mosaic & Tile serves a variety of commercial clients providing design and installation of carpet, resilient flooring, natural stone and terrazzo, as well as restoration services for natural stone surfaces. Santarossa offers a variety of marble, granite, limestone, travertine, slate, quartz, and onyx fabricating, refinishing, and custom design.
INSTALL demonstrates commitment to quality and continuous improvement through its rigorous training program and ongoing curriculum reviews; all designed to meet manufacturer and industry standards. INSTALL Warranty Contractors attend training and educational programs equipping them with the skills needed to serve the marketplace.
Earning the Title
Currently, there are more than 500 companies associated with INSTALL. Of those, Sonus Interiors and Santarossa Mosaic & Tile join the other 32 companies that have completed the required curriculum to achieve INSTALL Warranty Contractor (IWC) status. These requirements include:
- 100% of labor force is INSTALL Certified
- Good financial standing
- Commitment to a stated level of quality and fair labor practices
- Resume proving excellence in performance
Once a contractor has been named an IWC, they carry the INSTALL Labor Warranty, which provides an additional, non-proprietary and third-party installation warranty of $25,000 and two years. These new terms are five times the original warranty coverage and two times the original term.
